Tracey Knotts is a professional artist specializing in portraiture. She resides in Newport Beach, California. Born with the ability to draw, she explored her talent and graduated from college with her degree in art in 1996.
Soon after her graduation, Tracey pursued yet another passion, medicine. Tracey went on to receive two additional college degrees in Nursing as well as certification from the American Board of Transplant Coordinators as a Procurement Specialist.
Tracey has worked on the Organ Transplant team since 2003. She felt so passionate about organ donation that she donated her own kidney on December 17, 2008 when she learned a colleague was suffering from kidney failure. Through her life experiences, Tracey came back to her gift of painting.
Her slogan is "painting your legacy." In her work with organ donation, becoming a donor herself and painting life as she sees it, Tracey believes there is no greater gift than appreciating the people and animals closest to us who change our lives. Special moments in time which form who we are should never be forgotten... your legacy.
Tracey has a unique ability to interpret the true essence of her subjects. She can see into the heart of a person or animal and capture their soul on canvas to forever be cherished.
